This summer I will attend the famed Community of Writers to work on a biography about Mary Haskell Minis, the friend and patron of Kahlil Gibran, author and illustrator of The Prophet.
The workshop is located in Sierra Nevada, the area where Mary spent her summers in the early 20th century. Trailing Mary will involve spending time in this mountain range and traveling by train, like her. Many people are supporting this research and writing trip through GoFundMe. Tania Talks Museums paid subscribers also support this work. To keep my supporters informed about the project before, during, and after the trip I will share updates here on Substack.
If you would also like to support this effort, please make a GoFundMe donation or purchase a paid subscription to Tania Talks Museums.
With my sincerest appreciation,
Tania
P. S. How does Trailing Mary relate to museums? I met her in one! The first three posts in this series will tell that story.
